On Demand Webinar: SPSL-based Far UVC LED for disinfection applications

In rapid spread of COVID19 in the past three years highlights the  importance of rapid and efficient disinfection systems that can stop virus and bacteria in its track, and one of the most promising candidate is UV disinfection due to its chemical-less and contactless nature. Unfortunately, the wide spread use of UV disinfection system is hampered by the DNA damaging properties of conventional UV. Recent studies have shown that by much shorter wavelength UV light – in the far UVC region, the light become harmless to the human body while maintaining its microbe killing efficiency.

This webinar outlines Silanna UV’s effort into making far UVC LEDs for this purpose. By using our revolutionary SPSL technology, Silanna UV is able to overcome many challenges facing the making of far UVC LEDs, to provide high power and reliable LEDs for many different applications.
